If on salary, taking a day off, would i still get paid in full for that week?

If on salary you should be paid a full day for any day you work, regardless of how long you work on that given day. That said, an employer may use paid time off (sick leave or vacation time) you have earned to pay you for those regular hours you took off on the day you did not work your regualr hours. |
