Landlord - Tenant Porblem

Landlord is over charging for one bedroom for 2 people - $1000.00

She does not offer much refrigerator space and no closet space. Landlord is falsifying her SSI and food stamp applications.

She is an alcoholic and and wonder where she's getting money to buy beer and cigerettes almost every day. What legal rights do I have and my daughter have?

Not sure what you mean by "overcharging." If you signed a lease agreeing to pay $1,000, than that is the rent. When the lease is up, if something less expensive is available elsewhere, then you can move. You can report the SSI and food stamp issues to the proper authorities.
