Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Hi I live in Florida. i want to break my apartment rental lease agreement. The reasons are because before i moved in the refrigerator didn't work properly. it would leak inside and damage my food. I told the landlord and i sent a email to come fix it. its been more then seven days and still its not fixed. i also have an ant problem, and i can clearly hear my neighbors conversations. Can i legally break my lease and not have to pay anything?

Your lease agreement controls your rights and obligations. You likely don't have a right to terminate the lease for these problems. You can notify the landlord about the extermination problem in writing. You may have a right to withhold rental if you follow the statutory procedure if the repairs and extermination are not done. as for the thin walls that is an issue you likely cannot remedy.
