Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
if i signed a lease on a room with a friend and the next day his girl friend has him arrested for domestic violence and changes the locks and i can no longer get in what do i do? he isnt allowed there and neither am i. What are my options?

You have a signed lease that gives you a possessory right. If there is a Court Order preventing you from accessing the place, you likely can challenge the lease obligations. if there is no court order, you probably have the right to possession and the girl does not. You can evict or remove her with a proper court order. It will be an expensive proposition. Seek some legal advice.
