Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I need to have a "tenant" move out of my house. He refuses to move from the house AND even move from my bedroom. What can I do? We are a male/male couple who are no longer a couple, obviously. We lived together in Fort Lauderdale from 9/2012 to 3/215. We were in a rented condo. I reluctantly moved with him to a house I purchased, in my name only, without any contract for him. I now want him out by 7/31 or sooner. He refuses and curses at me whenever I ask. I feel like I am a prisoner in my own home. Please help!

Since he would not be considered a tenant you must bring an action in ejectment to have him removed.

You may need to file an ejectment unless he has paid some funds to be there on a periodic basis OR has provided some benefits in exchange for the rental costs. you need an attorney to assist you in the process.
