Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida

Hello, personal information on my children's medical insurance status was disclosed to one insurance company by a doctor's office. What are my rights and what is the best recourse?

Thank you!

Not sure what you want. There may have been a hipaa violation, but it does not give you any recourse. You should notify the doctor's office not to disclose this information in the future. Did the doctor treat your child? If so, he had to reveal and disclose info to the insurance company. Not enough facts to really answer the question in any further detail.
