Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

Can I sue my oral surgeon for removing 4 teeth that were only suggested to be removed by my ortho dentist rather than the 4 that needed to be removed for me to put braces on. I was given a treatment plan by the oral surgeon however, I assumed that the four teeth included in the plan were the ones my dentists specifically stated needed to removed in my referral and the ones they needed to "evaluate as per my referral did not need to be removed. I am not a dentist so I did not know the tooth number differences between the referral and the treatment plan.

The issue is whether the treatment was below the standard and whether you have permanent injuries as a result of it. You need to be evaluated by another oral surgeon to get that kind of opinion. You don't mention when this occurred, but you are limited to a 2 year statute of limitations so act quickly.
