Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

There two checks one for medical in one settlement. Medical bills already been payed.Can the lawyer take some of his fee from the medical check?

If there is a recovery in part for medical and in part for other benefits, an attorney can usually take a fee on all aspects of the settlement. Really not able to answer with any definitiveness as you are not providing sufficient information.
