Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

In Florida, all counties are puttin court records online so anybody can see them. I was hurt in a car crash and sued the other driver and all my personal records were subpoenaed by his insurance company lawyers. The case is closed, but what subpoenaed records will be available online for public view?

What about the answers to the interrogatories, will they be public record? I had to give the names of all my family members, kids, employers, wages, etc, will all of that be available online for anybody to see?

Most discovery is not efiled and not accessible online unless it was part of some other public pleading. contact your attorney and find out what, if any records, were possibly put into public view. you could also access the case on your own and see what documents exist in the document and what you can access. it is highly unlikely that that information was efiled.

Just an additional point that you can go online, to the Clerk of Court's website, and usually can find a search page that will allow you to find your case. Then you can look at whatever documents they have on file yourself. You can also go the the actual courthouse, and ask the clerk to allow you to read your file. That way, you don't have to guess or wonder. Best of luck to you!
