Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

my mom died shortly after arriving on an out of state flight from a nursing facility several years ago and I'm wondering if there was legal recourse.

Was there some negligence involved in her death? If so, the claim would have had to be pursued within 2 years of the death AND there has to be a spouse or dependents to pursue a medical malpractice claim, if that is the basis. Seek some legal help with all your facts.
