Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Mother passed away , 18 yr old grandaughter (student) got in a accident with her car that had no insurance. A police report was done an now the man is after my sister wich is the grandaughters mother (threatening) for repairs, Is she responsible an or what should she do?

If your sister was the registered owner of the vehicle, she is jointly responsible for the damage to the other man's vehicle along with her daughter as driver. If she has been sued and does not have insurance, she should contact an attorney who handles civil litigation.

I agree that if your sister was the registered owner of the vehicle, then she is responsible.

If she owned the car, she ius responsible for the negligence of the granddaughter. There are limitations, but with a minor accident, she is 100% responsible.
