Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

If a 2nd mtg is recorded satisfied, can it still be a lien? This would have happened from a charge off or a bk or something. If it is still a lien, do they have to release it because it is recorded satisfied? They assigned the first, Company had first and second. The knew servicer wants to wipe me out to wipe them out and break all promises to me. Title co said if it is recorded satisfied it is not a lien but no search was done and i am not sure she is correct. Im anxious to know...

Thank you very much,

Cory

The only way to know if a mortgage is satisfied properly of record is to have the title reviewed by a real estate attorney. It is impossible to answer this inquiry on the facts given. Not sure who said it is valid and who said it is not. hire an attorney familiar with real estate law and give them all the documents and letters.
