Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I am a 52 year old unemployed woman who owns property as joint tenants with right to survivorship with a 65 year old man. He's employed. We once enjoyed a romantic relationship but I now live in the guest room. I am increasingly concerned about his abuse of prescription drugs and alcohol. He takes lots of medications and has alot of health issues..obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, apnea and related sleeping issues. I am financially codependent and can't afford to leave my interest in the property. He refuses to split property and holds a small mortgage not in my name, only his. He transferred deed to me after purchase. How do I protect mysel? Or how do I get out of this situation?

Seek some legal advice with your paperwork. If you want to sell the property or force the sale, you can file a partition action.
