Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Deed Restriction
I bought my house in 1993. I have 3 daughters so we had to buy a house with at least 3 bedrooms..The house we purchased had already had a garage made into a bedroom, which has a front window and a closet. Today 9/14/06 I received in the mail that I have 15 days to turn my daughters bedroom into a garage. The home owners association is saying that all house have to have a garage. After all these years they are now trying to enforce neighborhood deed restrictions. This is something I can not afford to do and also my daughter would no longer have her bedroom. Please, any assistance would be greatly appreciated in this matter. Thank you

Your only out is to prove a waiver or estoppel in court. Good luck.
