Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I am getting an invoice for Title Abstract Search, Lien Search, and Services for Preparation of Docs from a title company in Florida even though the refinance transaction did not go through. Am I responsible for these charges even though the loan was not approved? I'm already out over $800 in appraisals and other prepaid fees.

Possibly, yes. Your agreement with your lender or title company would control. Check with them. If they are billing these than you likely do owe them. Did you have a written contract?
