next of kin son's rights

my dad died may 15, 2008. his ex-wife was co-owner of house. i was listed as next of kin. am i entitled to anything or does it go to my step-sister who was put on quick-claim 8 months after his death?

Let me see if I have this right: your dad and his ex-wife were on the deed together. Then your dad died. That means his ex-wife owned the house by herself.

Later, the house was quit-claimed to your step-sister. That means she owns the house now. You're not entitled to anything.
