Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I purchased time share at Westgate Villas in Fl. My unit is no longer available-it is used for "overflow"only. Twice they have said it was closed due to renovations and finally told us the truth.

Now they put us anywhere and the units are unacceptable. Can we get our purchase price back-we no longer own what we contracted for.

Pls advise quickly as we are supposed to leave on Friday...I did not know I could get free advice.

Thanks so much !

A time share is an actual ownership in a specific apartment but only for specific weeks of the year, i.e., Unit #104, weeks 12 & 13. You should possess a deed with a legal description in it, just like if you owned a condominium.

If they have displaced you from your ownership, you may have legal recourse.
