Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

We purchsed a house in May in FL. The seller (Homesteps) aggredd to install new AC and selling agent had it installed through HIS AC guy. Now the heater turns off after 15 min and shuts off. We contacted selling agent for name of installing AC, he can't remember. He told us to call city to ask for name on permit for change out. NO permit pulled, and now no heat and city might fine us for illegal AC change out. Can I report Realtor and get my money back from him to get AC fixed? I wonder if they are scamming the seller (bank) for larger amounts and using non licensed installer.

You should have had an attorney when you closed. Get one now and stop doing this on your own. There are many options and you need to pick the one that will get you your AC appropriately installed and fixed.
