Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I am being requested to sign a corrective deed to correct mistakes made in the legal description of the property. They sent ma a corrective deed along with a comparison and it is inline with the legal description when i bout the home.

What are my risks in signing the doc? Can they take legal action to force me to sign?

Impossible to really answer this question without seeing the deeds. Risks? You are affirming and warranting your ownership of the property. As initially you want it to be correct. Yes they sue you to force you to sign if necessary. You should consult the attorney who represented you for the sale. No Attorney? You should have had one and this issue may never have developed. Yoy may need to consult with one now to make sure the corrective deed is accurate.
