Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My roommate hasn't paid last months rent nor this months rent. I told her if she cannot come up with the money by the end of the month then she needs to pack up and leave. Is there any way I can still get the money after she moves out? Can i lock her bedroom door so she can't take all her stuff? or what...

You would likely have to evict her to stop her from entering the apartment. You don't have a self help right to stop her from moving or accessing her stuff. You would have to sue her for the rental which is due at the same time as the eviction or afterward. Seek some legal help this is a complicated type of smaller claim
