Seller wants Buyer's deposit after inspection period. Can he appoint Escrow Agent as Power of Attorney to act on his behalf?

Huh? Escrow agent is neutral and holds funds under the terms of the trust. Neither party can appoint the Escrow Agent as their POA to act on their behalf, it is contrary to the neutrality of the agent. You really need an attorney to discuss these matters with at this time.
