If you are in a single family residence, in addition to paying your rent and staying aware of the status of the foreclosure, if there is an actual lawsuit pending you should have been served. You should prepare some type of response to the court to notify the parties that you are aware of the proceeding and to ensure that you are provided with copies of all notices going forward. You also want to make sure that your rights are preserved with regard to being able to stay there for the remainder of your lease.

I would suggest that you be prepared to move at the end of your lease term and you should start saving $$ for the move and looking for a new place live. It would also be a good idea to speak with an attorney in person to review the lease and the status of the court case to give you a better response. If you can't afford an attorney you may contact legal aid and see if you qualify for assistance.
