Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

We won a foreclosure auction with the Clerk of the Court, FL., we paid all monies due the same day. During the 11 day waiting period to receive the ciertifcate of title, the defense made an objection to the sale, vacate final judgement as void. We went to the court and were told we needed to file a motion to obtain the Certificate of Title, so we did. Now the defense have ask for a hearing for April. What are we obligated to do and what should we do next.

1. The County Clerk does not guarantee good title.

2. The legal papers need to be reviewed. Is their claim valid?

The time to ask these questions and know the answers was before you bid on the property. Impossible to answer them now without seeing all the paperwork. You invested money in the house without knowing the procedures. Now you really need to invest in an attorney to get the property clearly.
