Tax refund after filing Chapter 13
Good Morning,
I would like to know i filed banckrupcty under Chapter 13 and would want information regarding my tax refunds,
I was advised that i owed monies to the Unemployement Division, and i wanted to know that since i filed Chapter 11 will they take my refund even after i am currently under bankruptcy, please advise.

No, unless in your bankruptcy action you authorized the taking of your tax refund. You mention both Chap 11 and 13 filings. Your refund could be taken for other claims: tax owed to the government, child support, student loans, etc. You may refer to the order in your case from the bankruptcy court or contact the trustee if you have questions.
