will i get a tax return

i just wanted to know if will be able to get some tax return back.me and my wife have 2 kids,but seperated from her last month.we are still leagaly merried.i just want to know i still get that income cedit thing sence we were still merrired the whole year,and still are.i don't live with the kids ,but she does.i take care of them everday though.

Whether you are entitled to earned income credit will depend on how you and your wife file. If she files a separate return as head of household, she will get the credit. You and she may want to file so as to maximize your credit. A tax preparer can help you.
