Yes, the other party can still sue you in civil court. The holding of the traffic court has no bearing on the civil court. If the Plaintiff testified in court that you did not cause the accident, you will have to purchase a transcript of the hearing to introduce into evidence in the civil case in order for it to have any effect.

If a judgment is entered against you and you do not pay it, your license will be suspended until you do upon application by the Plaintiff. It is best to try and reach an amicable resolution with the other party if it is at all possible.

Yes, you could be civilly liable even if you are found not to be criminally liable. Remember O.J.? If you are sued civilly, and have a judgment entered against you, the Plaintiff can lien and possibly seize your assets or attach your wages. However, a civil suit should not have any impact on your drivers' license.
