45 is a lot more than just "a little over 30 mph." It could certainly raise suspicion by an officer if you're doing 45 mph and you haven't registered your vehicle. You could then face two criminal charges: one for no registration, and one for driving without a motorcycle lesson. I know it sounds ridiculous but I've seen it happen. In other words, stay under 30 mph or risk getting pulled over.
