Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

Do I have to pay the other drivers costs after my insurance company paid their part? I hit a fox rental car with my car. Fox rental agency is asking me to pay their admin fees and loss of use fees suffered due to the man who drove this cars accident with me. As it was my fault, my ins. co offered to pay the loss of use if they would provide the fleet log loss, which they refuse. They threatened to send me to collections and have my license revoked if I do not pay.

Am I legally accountable for this money and can they legally send me to collections and have my license revoked. I live in Florida.

Anything your insurance doesn't cover (which would be in your insurance contract), then you are liable to pay. For example, if you have a deductible, then YOU must pay and not the insurance company. As far as going to collections, the answer is yes they can do this. Now it is possible that Fox is illegally asking for something they can't ask for, but you would need to talk to an insurance attorney or contract attorney, not a traffic law attorney.
