Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

traffic citation

I bought a used van and before I transfered the title, I put the plates

from my old van on my new old van and drove off to the town hall to transfer plates and title. On the way, I was stopped and cited for the above infraction. My question is this; The officer put the wrong name on the ticket. My Name is Donald I--name removed-- He put Ronald I--name removed-- Is there a chance that this will be thrown out. Thank you

NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

There is always a chance but I would not count on it. You should consider hiring a traffic attorney (one who specializes in ticket defense). For a minimal cost, you will get decent representation in court.
