May I add a note to my existing will to state that I want my sister to get my condo upon my death? What is the proper way to do this?

Because it is real-estate, you must put it in the Will. If there exists a Will, the an amendment, which is called a Codicil, must be executed with the same formalities of a Will. I agree, with the prior comment, contact an attorney to amend the Will.
