Do we need an attorney to settle the estate? Our fully funded Florida revocable living trust has less than 3.5 million. $500,000 goes to children and remainder to surviving spouse.

If there is a probate of the Estate you will need an attorney. Most trusts are set up with an eye toward avoidance of probate. Best to discuss the circumstances of your trust with an attorney now so you can see if there will be a need to file probate upon death.
