My brother had power of attorney for my Dad when he moved to Florida from Ct.He sold my Dad's Property for $125,000.He then pocketed $80,00.00 for his business in Ct so he says.We still have not seen any of the paper work. I have asked a number of times to see it and have as of yet .Do we have any legal recourse? This has been about 3 years now.My Mom just recently died and my Dad's income has decreased significantly.

The power of attorney likely means he does not have to provide the information to anyone but your father. Your father while alive can withdraw the POA at anytime he wants. The amounts claimed in all likelihood wont justify the filing of a suit since the costs and fees may far exceed any unfair or unjust enrichment. Seek some legal help. Good luck.

I know the answer you would least desire would be to hire an attorney but it appears that you have done all you can do without success-so-hire an attorney to review the matter.
