My wife's aunt passed away and left my wife her residence in her will. My wife's mother is the executor and is claiming a partial right to 1/3 of the proceeds of the sale of the house. She said that the land is seperate from the house and therefore not part of the residence. This is not a mobile home, I've never heard of anything like this.
