Does the executor of a will have to do as will says or can he decide to do what he wants ?

Usually it is pretty restricted to what the Will says, but there are exceptions. It depends upon the situation, i.e., does the Will call for something that Florida Statute direct otherwise or does the Judge order otherwise, can the provision in the Will be actually complied with. Things like that.

As a general matter, the executor must do as the Last Will and Testament states unless the Will is unlawful, unenforceable, or the Judge orders otherwise.
