Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

my father died and I am his only child and I just found out yesterday. My aunt and uncle knew he died a month ago and never told me. They lied and said there was no next of kin and i have no idea where his body is. Is it illegal that they lied and what can I do about it?

As the only direct bloodline descendant you actually are the one who has a right to the body. If you cannot get an answer from the hospital or the mortuary, you would need to file a suite against your aunt and uncle. I would suggest the better way is to work it out with them asap.
