Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

I have been living with my father since 2002, he is very ill, if he is to pass can I stay in the house. He has an insurance policy that will pay off the house. I'm just curious what the laws is. Thanks

Are you the beneficiary on the insurance policy? are there any others who may make claim. It might be in your best interest to speak with an attorney.

Who owns the house? Is there a mortgage? Does he have will? You may stay until a judge rules otherwise.
