Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

my mom is 74 yo she has dementia and is currently in a nursing home. she has a home that is paid for free and clear. as her only child and closest living relative is there anything legally i can do to acquire the home that i currently reside in.

Unless she has a will or trust in place, there is no way to accomplish this transfer pre-death. At the time of her death, probate will be necessary to transfer title to you properly

Are you currently living at the residence? You could file for a guardianship over her and her assets.
