A notarized signature on a quit claim deed needs to witnesses. Can the witnesses be relatives of the person whose signature is being notarized?

never have relatives as witnesses to important documents. There is always the possibility of challenge for "undue influence". I suggest you take the doc with the person to the bank they trade at so that they can properly execute.
