Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

I was served with a subpoena duces tecum for deposition. Am I required to give oral testimony or can I just deliver the documents myself or have a friend deliver them. Should I retain legal council to accompany me? Thanks

It depends on what the documents say- some say if you deliver the documents you need not be present . If you are this deeply involved in a case it is wise to consult an attorney about whether you need a attorney to represent you.Through my website at www. FloridaLegalServicesOnline.com I provide this type of service statewide. If you need help feel free to contact me.

Review the subpoena. It may require you to both appear and produce the documents. I could not say whether you should have legal counsel until I have reviewed the subpoena and spoken with you about the matter. Please consult with an attorney for legal advice. I offer a free phone consultation. Regards,
