Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

If you have undistributed money from an Estate, still in probate, and you have a Judgment against you, can they attach the Judgment to your Estate? I own nothing else and I need a home and vehicle. Do they only get a % of my heritance? Do I need an attorney to keep them from all of it, so I can get me a place to live? Thank you, CC

Mr Slater's statement is correct. If the Judgment holder knows of your entitlement to a share of the Estate they can receive it in satisfaction or partial satisfaction of their judgment against you. Seek legal help to make sure how to handle the situation.
