Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

i worked 11 months at my job truck driving. 14 hour days, 11 hours driving. i'm all over 48 states within a 2 week period. its a tough job even not preg. but im having bad complications and ob/gyn in utah and cali say i need to get a doc in florida to put me on disability because i should not work with this pregnancy and so i can get unemployment compensation. how does this work in florida? is every state different? what exactly do i need from the doc to file? how many weeks will i be compensated before and after pregnancy? thanks
