Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

I received a couple of traffic tickets, in Marietta, Georgia, Cobb County, one for driving under suspended license, and one for no proof of insurance. After the officers placed me under arrest, they towed my vehicle from my apartment complex's parking lot, to a auto salvage yard, in Smyrna, Georgia. They claimed that they towed my car because I could not show them the title to the car. I had just purchased the vehicle from my brother whom could not find the vehicle's title, and he had bought the vehicle from another person. I would like to know where do I stand, in this case, and how can I get my property back?

You get your property back by showing title, proof of insurance and paying an impound fee that goes up every day (exactly what I am sure they already told you).

Your bigger problem are the tickets which can mean jail time, large fines, probation, and further loss of your license.

Get a lawyer. You need one.
