Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

My son was followed home from a friends house and the friend is known to be friends with someone that sells marj. They waited until my son got in his yard and handcuffed him and told him if he didn't help them set up a sting they would arrest him and they did find a roach on him. They gave him two days to make up his mind and if he wouldn't help them they would come back and arrest him for the roach. Can they do that? That is putting my sons life and my daughter and grandsons life in danger if he does it.
