Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Bought 02 corvette,as is. Bought warranty, it's been in there shop 9 of the 20 days I owned it. Still there now. Emission test stated no codes when I bought it. Day after i bought it, dozens of codes. They miss represented the condition, by alot. Wonder do I have any options? This is like a huge supercenter dealership.

Did you do the smart thing and have the car checked by an independent mechanic before buying? If not, other than the benefits of the warranty, it was 100% your risk. A dealer has to see that the car can pass emissions, but it looks like it may gave passed. You mention they misrepresented the condition, but they are trying to sell you a car. It was ultimately your decision and your contract probably clearly says you did NOT rely on any of these representations. You mention a warranty, but did not tell us whether it covers the problems. You might be able to negotiate something with them, but unless they actively messed with the codes or did something like that, AND you can prove it, it usually just comes down to taking a chance on buying a 13 year old car as-is and without an independent inspection.
