Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

I loaned a friend some money and now need to get him to sign a simple loan agreement.

Will the signature of two witnesses suffice in place of a notary seal??

You are asking the least important issue. The contents matter far more than witnesses. Have a lawyer review it.

And remember that you should never loan money to a friend, as the cost of collection may exceed the cost of the money.

You don't have to have either witnesses or a notary, but it is a good idea. That way, those folks can testify about the signing of the document.
