It depends on your paperwork, which we have not read. In most cases the paperwork ranges from one second to 30 days. However, in reality, many lenders take longer. You should be confering with a lawyer rather than being intimidated by low-ranking commissioned phone collectors who have no say in foreclosure decisions.

Homes are foreclosed upon not repo'd. Unless this is a mobile home. However, repo'ing a mobile home is not like a car. It takes a bit of time.

First, do you own a home or a mobile home attached to land like a regular home or do you have a mobile home?

Second, assuming we are dealing with foreclosure, has a notice of intent to foreclose been sent to you yet?

Thirdly, have you considered options like bankruptcy? Bankruptcy will stop any legal actions in their tracks. I agree with Attorney Ashman - you need to at least consult with an attorney to find out what you have and what the best approach will be.
