Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Unsecured Credit Card Debt

I owe $50K to two CC companies. I can no longer make the monthly payments. To satisfy the debt I can sell some real property once the market begins moving, but not now. What are my duties and rights for negotiating a deferred payment option?

See a lawyer. You have no rights to a deferred payment plan. They can do quite a few things to you if they choose. A lawyer may be able to find choices for you to eliminate the debts or pay them over time.
