Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I was charged with armed robbery . I was offered 20 years do 3 and reduced to robbery if I do not take it to trial. My co-defendant took a deal 20 years do 7. I did not commit this crime. However armed robbery in Georgia is a serious offense and I know innocent people go to prison everyday. What should I do?

Hire a good criminal defense attorney because innocent people DO spend years in prison for crimes they did not commit

Do not talk to ANYONE until you hire a lawyer

Your codefendant's plea deal surely contains a provision where he/she will be "forced" to testify against you

Good luck

You should listen to your attorney. You are not representing yourself, and your attorney knows the evidence. Why did the prosecutor charge you and NOT me. I know I was not there. Were you also NOT there? What did the co-defendant tell the judge about your role when the co-defendant entered his plea. No one on-line knows the evidence. Any advice they give you about plea or trial is retarded.
