Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I was charged with a felony theft by taking and a misdemeanor theft by deception. I have never been in trouble and I was not aware that the items I pawned were stolen. I need to know what I should do. I'm on pretrial conditions because they lowered my bond.. I'm wondering if the charges will be dropped if I complete my pretrial contract.

It is this simple - take it seriously and get the best criminal lawyer you can, or get internet advice and risk a lifetime with a criminal conviction.

you completing pre-trial means you were a good candidate for bond, it has nothing to do with punishment for felony theft charges. While you are hoping the charges go away, you should be retaining the right attorney: http://www.lawrencelewispc.com/pages.php?go=pinfo&PID=38

Good luck
