Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I was cited while working in Atlanta, GA I was charged with a Red Light Camera violation in September or October 2008. Never appeared in court to answer to the charge did not pay the waiver either. My license and driving rights are valid in my home state of Ohio. Did the ticket just vanish what if any penalty exists for me if I choose not to take steps to resolve the matter? There's been no correspondence with the court since vacating the state at campaigns end in Nov 2008. Camera revealed by license plate number which would show my address. Can the court still enforce this out-of-state alleged violation in my current state of Ohio.

The city of Atlanta traffic court often employs collection agencies to collect fines (they will soon also start doing income tax intercepts). So instead of risking trashing your credit history, which could cost you far more in the long run than the $70, write a check and settle up.
